The majority of people believe they are open-minded and open to learning more, until a suggestion is made to do something different. Without asking a question, the rationalizations pour forth at rapid speed.
"I don't have time...," "That wouldn't work for me." "I don't know how." "That would take too much time." "I have too much to do, I couldn't add another thing." And the list goes on.
The dilemma is how does one acquire a truly open-mind? One can learn to have an open-mind by allowing ones imagination to roam and consider paths that you previously turned away from. If you want to broaden your goals or push out of your comfort zone, today is the perfect day to do such a thing. Why today? You might ask. The answer is there is no perfect time to begin something. Simply pick a moment and do it. Just do it. When you just do it, your spontaneous and free spirit will kick into high gear, without your being able to squelch it. By jumping into every situation with a strong sense of optimism and confidence in yourself, you will be creating limitless opportunities to create positive experiences in your life.
Being open-minded and having an optimistic outlook, you will believe in the possibilities for creating a more meaningful and enriched life. An open-mind is beneficial in every situation, whether you are interacting with others or working to create your dreams. When you consider what is possible, you stretch your limits and strive to create more meaningful experiences. Simultaneously, you learn to let go of your preconceived ideas and adopt a mind-set of optimism in all circumstances, which helps you attract more opportunities for growth and create a deeper level of meaning in your life and those closest to you.
By opening your mind to consider the new and unusual at each moment, you can welcome in new realms of possibilities for growth and everlasting fulfillment.
